We changed the edge on a few of our slitting blades – and thereby significantly improved the final sharpness. The blade types 240mm x 2.0mm and 297mm x 2.5mm are now sharpened with a different geometry. The result is amazing: We achieve a higher final sharpness and much better cut edges, without smearing or fringing. Our tests resulted in clean cuts across all applications.
