UA770 Coreless Rewinding and Length Trimming Machine for Coreless Winding with 77cm Web Width

The UA770 Coreless is a rewinding machine for coreless winding of media with a web width of up to 77 cm. The inner diameter of the wound rolls is approximately 33 mm. The pneumatically activated single-sided tension shaft holds the material securely and reduces the outer diameter after the winding process so that the roll can be easily removed. A conversion kit for tensioning cores with 39 mm and 2″ diameters is optionally available. The unwinding unit also features a single-sided tension shaft with a 3” mount; other diameters are available as options. The UA770 Coreless has a pre-feed unit with digital measuring system, optical media edge detection and an automatic cross cutter that automatically cuts the material to the exact length. The rewinding machine reliably, precisely, and quickly unwinds from vinyl rolls up to a maximum diameter of 400 mm and cuts exact short rolls up to a diameter of 100 mm. In combination with the ConvertPlus control software, both master and customer rolls can be provided with individualized barcode labels containing the linear length of the vinyl film, article data, and, if required, much more information. These barcode labels allow the vinyl films to be scanned before executing a rewinding job, thus verifying the article data and reading the remaining length of the roll into the system. This effectively prevents many errors in the rewinding process. ConvertPlus supports several ways to read in rewind orders – for example, by scanning the corresponding barcodes on delivery notes or even by fully automatic imports of electronic order data.
