Laminating machines bond two material webs permanently together — a carrier web with a protective, self-adhesive or label film, for instance. The result is a composite that is more robust, longer-lasting and easier to handle downstream than its individual layers.
The Select L 1600 from the Nepata Select range laminates webs up to 1600 mm working width in a single pass. Web edge guidance keeps the web tracking precisely even on long rolls, while the twin-motor drive enables speeds of up to 80 m/min at a precision of ±0.10 mm.
Applications range from composite films and laminate through EPDM roofing membranes, bitumen and roofing membranes to insulation materials, floor coverings, technical textiles and composites for vehicle construction.
