A new addition is a vertical storage system, designed to hold between approximately 400 and 1,250 rolls.

First client project in the planning stage

The first customer project is currently in the planning stage. It is based on a steel shelving structure with horizontal mandrels on which the rolls are suspended. A vertical 3-axis robot retrieves the rolls required for each order. Using a shelf gripper, it lifts the roll from the mandrel and places it in a free transfer station directly next to the rewinding machine. The supplied software is fully integrated into the tried-and-tested NEPATA control software ConvertPlus or, on request, can be connected directly to the existing ERP system. In addition to optimising processes through software and automation, the system stands out above all because the rolls are stored in a much more space-efficient manner than on shelving units.
