The UA 770 Coreless
in detail.
The UA 770 Coreless is a rewinding machine for coreless winding of media up to a web width of 77 cm. The inner diameter of the wound rolls is approximately 33 mm. The pneumatically activated single-sided tension shaft holds the material securely and reduces the outer diameter after the winding process so that the roll can be removed easily.
A conversion kit for tensioning cores of 39 mm and 2″ diameter is available as an option. The unwind side likewise features a single-sided mounted tension shaft with a 3" fitting; other diameters are available as an option. The UA 770 Coreless has a pre-feed unit with a digital measuring system, optical media-edge detection and an automatic cross cutter that cuts the material to the exact length automatically.
The rewinding machine unwinds reliably, precisely and quickly from vinyl film rolls up to a maximum diameter of 400 mm and cuts exact short rolls to a diameter of up to 100 mm. In combination with the ConvertPlus control software, both master rolls and customer rolls can be fitted with individualised barcode labels containing the running length of the vinyl film, article data and, if required, much further information. Using these barcode labels, the vinyl films can be scanned before running a rewinding job, allowing the article data to be verified and the remaining length of the roll to be read into the system.
This avoids many errors in the rewinding process. ConvertPlus supports several ways of importing rewinding orders – for example by scanning the corresponding barcodes on the delivery notes, or even via fully automatic imports of electronic order data.
What the UA 770 Coreless can do.
All features come as standard — no list of paid options, no hidden licence costs. What you see is what you get.
- Coreless, sleeveless rewinding, re-rolling, unrolling, length trimming, etc. of roll media up to 770 mm wide
- Inner diameter of winding approx. 33mm
- Core diameter unwind side 3″ or 2″ (optional)
- Conversion kit for using 39mm cores on the same tension shaft available
- Winding speed up to 1,0 m/s
- Production capacity approx. 160 rolls of 1.5m length per hour or 140 rolls of 3.0m length per hour
- High precision when rewinding of <2 mm/m
- Automatic cross cutter
- Automatic tensioning via pneumatics
- Fast set-up thanks to single-sided tension shafts
- Operation via touchscreen
- Control via ConvertPlus software possible – incl. barcode labels for customer and stock rolls
- Fast return on investment, even for smaller vinyl film resellers, by avoiding errors and waste
