The SR 1600 is a robust slitter-rewinder for slitting master rolls lengthwise — from PET, OPP and PC film through paper and label stock to abrasive paper. The web runs from the unwind over a powder brake with automatic constant-tension control, is slit lengthwise and, in duplex mode, wound alternately onto two rewind shafts.
Both rewind shafts are 3" friction shafts: each core slips individually and compensates for diameter differences between the slit rolls — for even winding hardness across the full width. Depending on the material, you choose between razor blade, crush cut and shear cut. Length, tension and speed are set via the PLC control with a 7" touch panel.
What the Select SR 1600 can do.
Designed for high throughput and clean rolls — from the controlled unwind to the finished individual roll.
- Two 3" friction rewind shafts — each core slips individually and compensates for diameter differences, for even winding hardness across the full width.
- Duplex rewinding — the slit rolls are wound alternately onto the upper and lower shaft, so neighbouring rolls never touch — up to Ø 400 mm.
- Controlled unwind — 20 kg powder brake with automatic constant-tension control for even web tension.
- Three cutting technologies — razor blade, crush cut or shear cut, to suit the material and the edge quality you need.
- PLC with 7" touch panel — set length, tension and speed centrally; digital metre counter accurate to ±0.5 m/100 m.
- Powerful drive — main and winding drives each with a 4 kW AC motor and frequency inverter, up to 120 m/min.
- Splicing table — integrated splicing table for quickly splicing in new master rolls.
