Nepata Ltd. – Who we are and where we come from
From the basement workshop to the global market
Our success story began in 1984 with the founding of Nepata GmbH as an engineering firm in Upper Bavaria. Konrad Franke and Christoph Weber ran the company and specialised in technology components in the former USSR. After the collapse of the USSR, the business changed when Fabian Franke and Bernhard Schmidt took over the company in 1999.
Under new management, Nepata GmbH continued to develop in the field of film converting, and in 2010 we were proud to present the first prototype of a rewinding machine at the renowned FESPA trade fair in Munich. This machine marked the beginning of a new product series and was successfully launched in the same year.
Our experience in mechanical engineering goes back over 30 years, and for about a decade we have been leaders in the development of machines and software for efficient film conversion. As one of the global market leaders in this field, we have successfully established ourselves as a supplier to industry and wholesalers. Today, Nepata GmbH, together with Nepata Vertrieb GmbH and Nepata Systems GmbH, forms the Nepata Group, headquartered in Wolnzach, Bavaria.
