This time in the NEPATA test studio: a double-sided adhesive film with strong adhesive and a glassine paper liner.

The material is to be slitted into strips of double-sided adhesive tape ranging in width from five millimetres to five centimetres. The rolls are 25 metres long. As expected, NEPATA’s ADWS slitter carried out this task with flying colours.

As the material has a liner, we used a blade that is ground on one side only. Due to the strong adhesive and to achieve a better overall result, we used the lubrication system. This automatically coats the blade with silicone oil.
