TEST: Application Tape – a perfect cut in under 27 seconds

Of course, film tape has been run through NEPATA machines many times before. But this time we wanted to find out exactly: what can our slitter achieve? In the NEPATA test studio, we performed slitting on a roll of application tape – including loading and unloading the roll – in under 27 seconds! We used the UA1650 ADWS precision converting centre, fitted with a double-sided ground blade and with the lubrication system activated. This ensures that the blade is constantly coated with silicone oil.
