Cast carbon film has to be up to the job – the material is suitably thick, strong and yet flexible. How does NEPATA perform during slitting?
The photos prove it: the cut edges are perfectly straight and clean, with no fraying. Fortunately, the NEPATA slitters come with the right blade for every purpose. In particular, the 5mm blade with a double-sided grind and the solid carbide blades deliver even better results when cutting tough materials.
Also helpful when working with carbon film: the jaw lubrication system, which evenly coats the blade with silicone oil, thereby reducing friction and heat build-up. And the line laser allows the slitting blade to be positioned with precision.
