Clean, straight cuts without dust – that is the challenge when cutting paper media for sublimation printing.
NEPATA’s rewinders and cutting machines are optimised for film media. They can also process a wide range of papers, such as photographic paper, digital printing paper or – particularly relevant for many of our customers – transfer paper for sublimation printing. Our unique pad lubrication system ensures the best possible cutting results. The felt jaws apply lubricants (silicone oil, water, oil-in-water solutions) directly to both sides of the slitting blade. The user controls the lubrication themselves at the touch of a button. This ensures economical use and prevents the paper from becoming contaminated. The contact pressure of the felt jaws is adjustable. This allows them to exert a significant braking force on the moving blade – further improving the cutting results.
