SOLUTIONS: Slitting double-sided adhesive tape

NEPATA’s slitting solutions can handle even the most challenging materials, such as double-sided foam adhesive tapes. We offer a range of blades for different applications. Above all, however, our jaw lubrication system is ideal for this: it applies silicone oil precisely to the blade, cleaning and slowing it down. This prevents adhesive residue from building up and reduces friction even further. In this video, we demonstrate the slitting of an Orafol foam adhesive tape. Of course, 3M VHB (Very High Bond) materials and products from other manufacturers also work. The NEPATA UA1650 ADWS precision converting centre (((product link))) is used for this.
