Glass fibre plus a PTFE coating – you’ll be hard-pressed to find anything more robust in the world of fabrics and membranes. We put it to the cut test. We rewound Forflon material and slitted it into tapes, including a self-adhesive glass fabric. The photos show the perfect result achieved by the NEPATA 1900 ADWS slitting machine (((Link 1900 ADWS))). For such demanding applications, we use the special 5 mm blade with a bevelled edge in conjunction with our unique pad lubrication system for the slitting head. This system applies silicone oil to the blade in a highly targeted manner.
