New to the NEPATA portfolio is the UA1850 E rewinding and cutting machine. The ‘E’ stands for ‘Economy’. The new UA1850 E rewinding and cutting machine is based on the tried-and-tested UA1650, but is generally slightly slower in terms of processing times. It also places more responsibility in the hands of the operator. For example, cross-cutting is carried out manually. In terms of price, the UA1850 E is significantly cheaper than the UA1650. It is therefore aimed at customers who wish to produce precise rolls but whose throughput does not justify a higher investment. Otherwise, the new Economy rewinder can do pretty much everything that sets NEPATA machines apart. It can be combined with the ConvertPlus2 control software, and is operated via a touchscreen. With a maximum working width of 1,850 mm, the new model even has a larger working width. This makes it suitable, for example, for processing window films.
