The NEPATA UA770 Coreless, designed for core-free winding with a web width of 77 cm, is a true specialist – for anyone who doesn’t need a core when winding.

Whether it’s flock film, flex film or HTV – rolls with very short lengths do not necessarily require a cardboard tube. And this is certainly not the case for gift wrap, wallpaper, baking paper or barbecue paper. Another example is water-activated adhesive tape.

In principle, coreless winding is possible with all NEPATA rewinders. However, this requires replacing the standard 3-inch shaft with a special 2-inch shaft. This step is not required with the new NEPATA UA770 Coreless. It is designed for coreless winding right from the start. Above all, however, the ‘Coreless’ model has an internal diameter of only approx. 33 mm after winding. Capable of fast and precise operation With a winding speed of up to 1.0 m/s, high production capacity is achievable. Approximately 140 rolls, each 3 m long, or approximately 160 rolls, each 1.5 m long, can be produced per hour. And with the utmost precision: during rewinding and automatic cross-cutting, the deviation is less than 2 mm per metre.
