We have modified the grind on some of our slitting blades – and have thus been able to significantly improve the final sharpness. The 240 mm x 2.0 mm and 297 mm x 2.5 mm blade types are now ground with a different geometry. The result is astonishing: we achieve greater final sharpness and much better cutting edges, without smearing or fraying. Our tests consistently showed a clean cut across all applications.
